Manual counting was officially carried out in Onondaga County, consolidating the results of six controversial games.

In Solvay, the current Republican Derek Bache defeated his Democratic opponent Deborah Deguilio by just 13 votes.

As early as October, after two village trustees accused Bai Chi of writing checks from Solvay Power Fund without proper authorization, Bai Chi was deprived of the right to write checks. Prior to this, DeGilio said that she decided to run to end the "turbulence" surrounding his leadership.

In Spaford, Democrat John T. Ryan and Republican Geoffrey Barron will become the next town councillors, and Barron won the seats by only seven votes.

The village of Camilos has two trustee seats to compete for, one of which will be filled by Martin Rinaldo. The other seat was decided by Mark Eckert and Patricia Butler Rhodes with 91 additional votes divided almost equally. Eckert defeated Rhodes by only seven votes.

In addition, the manual counting in Camilos is a local proposal to ban the operation of cannabis dispensaries within the village. Although the proposal initially failed by four votes after recounting the votes in advance, the decision was overturned and is now passed by 129 votes to 125 votes.

Two other local proposals for banning cannabis dispensaries were counted after being too close to call. The proposal of the town of Geddes failed by 11 votes, and in Tully it failed by only 4 votes.

"When people ask me next year if their votes are important, I will point out these races," Democratic election commissioner Dustin Czarny said in a tweet on Monday. "Your vote is important!"
